Changdeokgung (창덕궁) — or Changdeokgung Palace— is one of the five great palaces built by the kings of the Joseon dynasty and is the most well-preserved. It is located in the Jongno-gu area in Seoul and was built by King Taejong (third king of the Joseon dynasty) in 1405. How to Ride the Tokyo Metro

How to Ride the Tokyo Metro

I will be honest and admit that I needed a lot of time to adjust and get used to the Japanese train stations and their metro. The sheer size of the train stations, especially the Japan Rail (JR) Station, overwhelmed me. There was a north exit, a south exit, a southwest exit, a northeast exit, etc. Add to it lots of people going in all directions! It could easily confuse anyone who isn’t used to such big train stations. Luckily, I have had “training” with the London Tube and the Paris Metro, and this made me feel somewhat confident in dealing with the Tokyo Metro.
